The Cordelle Nashville’s Unique Victorian Wedding Venue

The building was built in the late 1800’s. The Cordelle located at 45 Lindsley was originally a family home. The home’s history started with the steamboat culture driven by the Cumberland River. The building was home to a family that made “cure-all ointments.” The walls are rich with stories displayed by the original patina that exists today. The Victorian is one of the last remaining homes of that era in the neighborhood. Sharing this historic backdrop with friends, family and colleagues adds character to any event.

The Cordelle’s Location

The Cordelle, located at 45 Lindsley Street in Nashville, TN, is surrounded by homes and businesses that hold the historic victorian style of old Nashville. 45 Lindsley is located in downtown’s historic Rutledge Hill, less than a mile from Nashville’s state of the art Music City Center Convention Center.

The Cordelle is one of our favorite wedding venues in Nashville. We had the opportunity to team up with the New Eclectic on this amazing styled shoot. The shoot showcased the beautiful Cordelle’s architecture along with some of Nashville’s best wedding vendors. From the stunning floral installation to the beautiful invitation suites this was one for the books!

The New Eclectic showcased a beautiful take on the modern wedding. They incorporated a modern seating area and the floral installation that really showcased the space. Therefore, the Cordelle is the perfect backdrop for any wedding ceremony, from the beautiful exposed brick, the expansive ceilings, and the amazing bridal suite to the large yard perfect for a wedding ceremony. Parking at The Cordelle

Parking in Nashville seems to be the hottest topic. Where do we park, how much does it cost, what is traffic like, are constant questions we hear. As more and more people are moving to Nashville and tourism is on the rise, parking is a growing problem for many brides looking to plan their dream wedding in one of the hottest destination wedding locations in the country. We wanted to help answer the common question of parking at The Cordelle in Nashville!

Parking at The Cordelle is free for up to 150 guests. There is ample free street parking for events hosting 150 guests or less. Once your guest count exceeds 150, the street parking is no longer a suitable option. The Cordelle event team highly recommends renting their additional parking lot (80 spaces) located only a block away on the corner of Hermitage & Academy Dr. The paved commercial lot is well lit and offers your guest or valet a convenient parking option in close proximity.
