The Estate at Cherokee Dock

The The Estate at Cherokee Dock is one of our favorite Nashville wedding venues! From the rich history of the property to the amazing event spaces and stunning views it never disappoints. The Estate was originally built in 1960 and is famous for being the home of renowned recording artist, actor, and author Reba McEntire. The property is 13 acres and the mansion boasts 13,000 square feet of living and entertainment space. In 2017, the Estate at Cherokee Dock opened as a luxury wedding venue.

The Estate retains the original timeless charm and grandeur with the groomed gardens, luxury stable, paddocks, guest house, pool house, eight-car garage, and more. The property now includes event spaces, both inside and out, while being surrounded by beautiful lakefront views.

What really makes the Estate unique is the wide variety of options they offer. The estate team is well prepared to make your wedding dream a reality: from an intimate elopement to a 300 person wedding. The property is also able to be rented out for a “wedding weekend,” where you, the bridal party, and even family can sleep! The house sleeps up to thirty guests. You can have a lavish rehearsal dinner, pool party, wedding breakfast, or basically whatever you can dream up!

If you are looking for more of an intimate wedding, they offer packages micro-wedding and elopement packages as well! These range from 1-2 hours of venue use with a max of twenty guests! This is perfect for the couple looking to have a small wedding with close family and friends at an epic wedding venue just outside of Nashville.

Beautiful Ceremony Sites

What really makes Cherokee Dock unique is the number of ceremony site options across the property. The brand new reception hall with expansive views of the lake, the luxury stable, along the lakeshore, or nestled between the trees on the front of the property all offer ample background to your dream ceremony.

The Bridal Suite

The Bridal Suite at the estate is located on the third floor of the mansion and features expansive views of the property. The suite connects to a stunning bathroom, and has Reba’s original two-story closet. The natural lighting creates a perfect spot to take photos, get your hair and makeup done, and watch guests arrive.

The Grooms Suite

The Groom’s Suite is a loft located in the Carriage House, where the groom and groomsmen can prepare and relax before the ceremony begins by watching the big game or hanging out. The suite features a master suite, five bunks, a kitchen, two showers, and 60’’ TV.

Accommodations

From renting the entire house, to sleeping thirty guests, to the beautiful carriage house which sleeps seven guests, the Estate has plenty of options for guest accommodations. Very few Nashville wedding venues offer amazing amenities like this on site.
