What We Love About Green Door Gourmet Weddings
Green Door Gourmet is a hidden oasis just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. This stunning 350-acre farm and market has become an agritourism destination with events and educational programs. The farm features a variety crop of fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Green Door Gourmet also offers services such as local farm boxes, fresh-cut flowers, and delivers fresh fare to local restaurants with the best farm to table produce in Middle Tennessee. Along with being a working farm, market, and agritourism destination, Green Door Gourment is an up and coming organically intimate Nashville wedding and event venue.
We first heard about Green Door Gourmet when they had an agritourism event with a pick-and-see sunflower field. Madison and I had such a blast on the farm and enjoyed the naturally beautiful property. After that experience, we knew we had to come back and see their event spaces!
Wedding Venue Options at Green Door Gourmet
The Grand Barn
The Grand Barn is a beautiful 6,000 square foot venue built from stunning Tennessee rough-sawn white oak. The barn is climate controlled and welcomes guests for a cocktail hour or grand reception. The hand-built main room features magnificent 27-foot tall ceilings at the peak, with reclaimed chestnut wood beams and a mezzanine area. The barn also has a separate adjacent wing for specifically for catering.
The Cottage
The Cottage is a recent addition to the farm. It is the perfect backdrop for hosting smaller events, rehearsal dinners, or even a cocktail hour! The cottage offers a 1500 square foot cedar wraparound porch, and the upstairs also serves as the bridal suite. Areas can be utilized individually or separately, depending on the size and type of function, as each has its own entrance and restroom facility.
Outdoor Ceremony Options
As a 350-acre certified organic farm composed of open pastures, flower fields, growing fields, and a ten-acre lake offer ample options for an outdoor ceremony, while still having the option for an indoor ceremony in the barn if the weather does not cooperate.
